My daughter is majoring in Bio-chem; she recently had a first test, she was so disappointed because she felt so confident and thought the test was easy, her grade was a C. Of course she was used to always getting A’s and B’s in high school. I encouraged her as much as I could by stating sometimes you need to be content with a C in college. Her worry is: if I got a C on something I thought was easy, what’s going to happen when things begin to get even more difficult. Of course I also encouraged her to seek out the student success center and utilize all help that Temple has to offer. Is there any advice for me, as a parent, to give that I haven’t already said. Thank you in advance for any help.
