Temple University Athletics provides numerous events to engage the campus community. Athletics is also excited to increase our awareness of upcoming games on campus. A few examples of these activities include: CherryOn Pep Rallies before each home football game, the Free Student Tailgate which includes music and body painting, Theme Nights at football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball, field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s gymnastics, lacrosse games and many more opportunities to celebrate your OWL spirit!

Here are the questions parents and family members frequently ask us:

Do Temple Students Get Free Student Tickets?
Temple students are eligible to receive one (1) free ticket to all home football, men's basketball, and women's basketball games. These tickets are based on availability, are limited to one per student, and are given out on a first-come-first-serve basis. Temple Football tickets can be picked up prior to game day at the Liacouras Center Box Office or at the Cherry On Pep Rally. Tickets can also be picked up on game day at Lincoln Financial Field at the West VIP Box Office beginning 2 hours before kickoff. All other Temple Athletics events - including volleyball games, field hockey games, women's soccer games, men's soccer games, and lacrosse games - are free and do not require tickets.

Can I Bring a Friend to a Football or Basketball Game?
Temple students can bring a friend to the game for just $10! Guest tickets can only be purchased on GAMEDAY at the West VIP Box Office of Lincoln Financial Field. Seating for student guest tickets is within the student sections. The guest of the Temple student will need to show their school ID along with their ticket to enter the stadium. Student guest tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last!

How Do I Get to Lincoln Financial Field from Campus?
For all home football games, the Temple Athletic Department provides students with free transportation to and from Lincoln Financial Field. Buses will pick up students 3 hours prior to game time at five different Temple locations: 1300 Cecil B. Moore Ave, Johnson & Hardwick Residence Hall, the Student Center, 15th and Montgomery, and the Ambler Campus Commuter Parking Lot. Buses on main campus will shuttle to and from Lincoln Financial Field leading up to the start of the game. Please note, there is an ADA accessible bus that is that runs as a part of the shuttles to and from the Student Center. Buses will only make one pick-up for students at the Ambler Campus. Buses will pick up students on 11th Street after each game and return them to campus.
