In-person Parent and Family Orientation details

Posted about 3 years ago .

At in-person Orientation you’ll meet other parents, family members and support systems of new Temple Owls! You will also be introduced to campus resources, acclimated to campus facilities, and meet Temple staff and administration.

Space will be limited at in-person sessions, so if you would like to attend, please complete your registration as soon as possible!

In-person session dates

Not all schools/colleges will be advising at each Orientation session. View the school/college's Orientation session dates. Your student will only be able to select a session which their school/college is participating in.

Not sure what school or college your student is in? Your student can visit their Profile in TUportal to verify!

*Be advised that students must sign up for their own orientation session via TUportal.

Session details:

For in-person Orientation, there is a $25.00 registration fee to attend which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, a parent reception, a coffee break, parking, and Temple swag. If you have any concerns about the registration fee, please reach out the parents@temple.edu. It is important to note that registration for Parent & Family Orientation is separate from your student's orientation registration.

Good afternoon,
Can students stay on campus as an upperclassmen? I continue to see parents talk about off campus apartments.
