The decision to close Morgan dining Hall was made this past August after orientation sessions concluded. According to the Office of Housing and Residential Life, this decision was reached following an in-depth assessment of Morgan Dining Hall use. It was being used by students far below its capacity. More often than not, students are using the other dining options at Morgan and throughout campus, and particularly those at the Student Center. There are no plans to re-open Morgan Dining Hall at this time.

There are several options in Morgan that will not cost more than a meal swipe, and additionally your student could do a mobile order for the Student Center food court ahead of time, she can have it ready for pick up at a specific time so she's not waiting. Meal equivalency in retail is à la carte, so the stretch of a meal swipe would depend on the items/quantity purchased. For breakfast, each swipe used will deduct $7.05 from the check total, while, during lunch & dinner, each swipe will deduct $9.75 from the total.

All locations have several combos and numerous items that fit under the above rates during each meal period. In fact, there are several locations where most items on the menu fit below the value of a meal swipe during the given meal period.
