The Student Success Center (SSC) is a comprehensive, "one-stop-shop" academic support center serving graduate and undergraduate students at Temple University. Their staff members are dedicated to continuing support services during this time. Below you will find information on how your student can virtually access the wide variety of support services offered by the Student Success Center.
For general information about accessing Student Success Center services, please email ssc@temple.edu or you can join ‘Student Success Center - Front Desk’ Zoom room at https://temple.zoom.us/j/929916654, or via the Meeting ID at 929-916-654. The Zoom room is accessible during normal hours Monday - Friday AND on Saturday’s from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
*Helpful hint - Zoom room information is added to your appointment just prior to the start of your session. If you're having trouble accessing the room via the direct link, try accessing it via the 9-digit meeting ID.

Academic Coaching:
Academic Coaching sessions will be offered via Zoom, and will be available by appointment only. For students with previously scheduled weekly appointments, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your sessions. For students interested in meeting with an academic coach, please refer to the Academic Coaching page on our website for information about how to schedule a preliminary meeting. Conversation Partners:
Conversation Partners will be offered via Zoom, and will be available by appointment only. CPs will offer support for students learning Arabic, Chinese, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Exam Review Workshops:
For the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester, the SSC will not be able to offer Exam Review Workshops. However, many departments have made arrangements to offer review sessions for their own courses. Consult with your professor to find out if your course will have a scheduled review.
Graduate Writing and Research Retreats:
As of March 12, 2020, we are still unsure whether we will be able to offer Graduate Writing and Research Retreats during the rest of the semester. Please check back later for updates or email Lorraine Savage (lorraine.savage@temple.edu) with questions.

Due to the screen-sharing requirement to execute an effective tutoring session in Zoom, group tutoring for STEM Tutoring is strongly discouraged for the Spring semester. For a group setting, please consider using the PASS service.

Students are welcome to seek writing tutoring for group projects, but only via Zoom. One group member should make an online tutoring appointment at a convenient time for all members, and then that member should share the relevant Zoom link with their group mates in advance of the appointment. All group members should plan to be present.
