The Temple Family Council would like to know what issues, questions or concerns you have that we can address for you. We are a small, diverse representative body of Temple parents, and don’t want to second guess what is on your mind.
We invite you to use the comments section below, and we will use our relationship with Temple, as part of the New Student and Family Programs office, to research and get you a response.
By way of brief background, we are a group of Temple parents representing all class years. Our students are diverse. They each are in different majors and from other parts of the United States and beyond. Our students live on and off campus and are involved in clubs and activities. Some play sports, others pay musical instruments, while some of our students are shy and are less involved, and unathletic. We say with confidence, that collectively we reflect and represent most families here at Temple.
Our role is simple. We serve as a bridge between the University and the parent and family community. We are divided into two Committees; Involvement, and Communications. The Involvement Committee organizes events for parents and families throughout the year, such as attending a Temple Basketball game and meeting for Happy Hour at a local bar or restaurant. The Communications Committee, works to enhance the Council’s visibility with University leadership and to communicate issues to both the parent community and the university about issues that are timely and that resonate with both.
Please let us know what questions we can help you with from one Temple parent to another.
We look forward to hearing from you.
~The members of Temple’s Parent and Family Council.
