Current Temple Family Council Members share their “why” for joining the Temple Family Council:

"I applied for the Family Council because I wanted to act as a resource to prospective and current families who may be navigating experiences that I might have faced. I also wanted to leverage my professional skills as a marketer to support this program. I am invested in the success of my son, and in the success of Temple, so I wanted to demonstrate that with a time and effort commitment."
-Mary B.
"Until my daughter accepted her “acceptance” to Temple. I was a passive alum; at best. Seeing her thrive as an “Owl” made me want to re-engage with my alma mater... The Temple Family Council is a perfect way for me to maximize my attributes as a Council member and Temple alum."
-David B.
"I am the grandparent of a sports management major. Family support is so important to a student’s academics and social stability. I want to be an active member in making a contribution to the school."
-Deirdre T.
"Being a mom of an only child I feel I have the ability to be involved in this next stage of her life, yet in a different way than past years. I would like to help represent the parent side of the college process and share how the experience was for myself."
-Laura V.
