University Housing and Residential Life strives to cultivate responsible community members by developing inclusive living and learning environments. University Housing and Residential Life is comprised of five pillars of primary functions: Finance, Housing Operations, Information Technology, Maintenance Operations, and Residential Life.
Here are the questions parents and family members frequently ask us:
When will my student receive their specific move-in date and time?
Move-in dates for student groups are listed here. Your student can access their specific move-in date (determined by housing assignment, floor, and building) via MyHousing. Here, they will be able to self-select their own specific move-in time on their assigned day.
What size bed will be in my student’s room?
1300 Residence Hall (1st – 3rd Floor Suites) come with a standard twin (75”x39”) mattress.
All other halls come with a twin extra-long (80”x39”) mattress. These halls include 1300 Residence Hall (4th and 5th Floor Apartments, 1940 Residence Hall, Mitchell and Hilarie Morgan Hall (North and South), Hardwick Hall, James S. White Hall, Temple Towers Apartments.
Are COVID-related policies and changes still in place in the hall?
University Housing and Residential Life will still maintain a rigorous cleaning rotation and ensure that in-hall policy reflects those of the university, local, state, and federal guidelines. While these guidelines are subject to change, updated information will always be communicated to students, as well as be made available at temple.edu/return.
