This office bills for tuition and fees, including University housing, as well as providing timely information regarding your financial account status. Our office also collects payments for students’ accounts either through the disbursement of funds through Student Financial Services, third-party sponsors, and the processing of personal payments.
Here are the questions parents and family members frequently ask us:
When will we receive the bill?
Registration drives billing. Students will be billed for courses for which they have registered. Periodic balance due notifications begin on December 6, 2021 and bills are due on January, 27, 2022. Newly registered students are sent the balance due notification on the Monday following their initial registration date.
How can we pay the bill?
Bills can be paid in one of three ways. You can pay on TUPay using a credit card or an electronic check. Students can access TUPay on the Cost and Aid tab on the TUPortal. Payment can also be submitted in the Bursar's office in the form of cash or check. Finally, check payments can be mailed to the Bursar's office. Please be sure to include the student's TUID on any checks.
Who will receive the bill?
The bill will be sent to the student's Temple University email account. The bill will also be sent to the email of anyone who the student has designated as an authorized payer. Authorized payers can be signed up on TUPay.
