Student Activities is committed to providing programs, experiences, and leadership development opportunities that engage students in meaningful campus involvement. What does it mean to “get involved” on campus?
Getting involved is an awesome way to meet other people, develop your leadership skills, and learn more about the world around you. This may mean more than you think, and the answer is as unique as the individual! Temple offers many opportunities for involvement through a wide range of activities, including more than 400+ student organizations and campus programs, academic honoraries, religious services and organizations, student government, social fraternities and sororities, club sports, intramurals, on-campus employment, residence hall activities, volunteerism and service-learning, student media, performing arts, entertainment…and much more!
What is Student Activities?
The offerings within Student Activities enhance students life, celebrate diversity, promote self-exploration, and broaden understanding of social responsibility. We provide students with a wide array of experiences within the following areas: Campus Programming and Events, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Immersion Programs (SIP), Leadership Development Programs, Student Government, and Student Clubs and Organizations.
What types of programs will be in the fall?
Student Activities will be hosting a wide variety of events for incoming and returning students coming to Temple as soon as you arrive on campus in the Fall. Follow us at @tuactivities on social media and look HERE later this summer for all the Weeks of Welcome (W.O.W.) events that are currently being planned.
