Student housing experiences: Laila's on-campus housing experiences has been great! She has the opportunity to meet new people in create lasting friendships has been phenomenal.
Student involvement: Laila's involvement at Temple is with Queer Temple, TUTU's first LGBTQ+ series, committed to educating viewers on current events, history, and life surrounding the LGBTQ+ community.
My piece of advice: My piece of advice is to get involved with what your children are doing if possible. Children love to see their parents supporting what interest them. It builds stronger bonds, building relationships of trust and honestly.
A moment of pride: My moment of pride is to see the independence in my child's eyes when on campus when visiting. That split second of confidence, strength, and ready to take on the world makes me so proud that I have raised a star.
My favorite thing to do when visiting my student: My favorite thing to do when visiting my child at Temple is to walk the campus, sit and have lunch on campus and talk about her experiences, connections, classes, and much more. I love to discuss any new news and updates of current and old events.
